Ain't gonna happen

There's no way anyone except cultists would view Trump as legitimate if he flipped states through this BS

Yeah Michigan won't flip. It has a law that replaces faithless electors and there aren't any laws they could randomly pass to change that.

Does that really matter? The cops will back him to the hilt, DHS has already proven they'll violate the shit out of the constitution if he asks. Bill Barr and the Justice Department are just extensions of the GOP and the Trump admin now. People will protest sure, the cops will brutalize and kill a bunch of them. And when shit gets too hot for them DHS will start doing snatch and grabs of organizers.

I'm a Saint Louisan, and that compels me to remind people that most of the leaders and organizers of the Ferguson protests wound up dead within a year or two under really sketchy circumstances. If they want people gone, they'll make it happen, they don't care about the optics of it anymore because they'll never be held accountable.

I'm not saying this to be doom and gloom or imply that there is no hope. I just think it's wildly naive to believe that the appearance of legitimacy means anything to these people. They want power. So long as they have it, they can crush anyone who challenges the legitimacy.

Is it likely Michigan flips? No. They have laws to prevent that. Nothing says though that they can't call a special session and change that. This presumption of integrity from a party that has repeatedly proven it has none has to stop. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.
