Looks like Microsoft have fucked up their one big advantage of having the most powerful console by making it too hard for developers to make games for.

Isnt it the same to develop for as the Xbox One? That was the whole point to support BC and cross generational play.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me at all to find out Sony secretly paid developers to make games worse on the Series X then the PS5.

It's an API thing, once the devs figure it out and dx12 ultimate releases, every new console multiplatform game will be leagues better on Series X.

XSX isn't nearly as complex. Sony specifically made it so you can develop PS5 games like PS4 games. I don't it will take nearly as long for XSX to overtake PS5 as the PS3 did.

But in the end PS3 did outperform 360 by a lot. And early PS3 multiplats were way shittier by comparison.
