Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has Harry Styles back.

On Saturday night (November 21), the 31-year-old Congresswoman answered questions from fans on her Instagram Story.

In one question, a fan asked AOC to share her thoughts on the 26-year-old Adore You singer wearing a dress on the latest cover of Vogue.

It looks wonderful, AOC responded. The masculine and feminine elements are balanced beautifully the hair and jacket styling give me James Dean vibes too.

Shortly after Harrys cover was released, conservative commentator Candace Owens slammed the cover, saying, There is no society that can survive without strong men.

AOC went on to address these comments in her Instagram answer.

Some people are made at it bc some folks are very sensitive to examining and exploring gender roles in society, AOC wrote. Perhaps for some people it provokes some anger or insecurity around masculinity/femininity/etc. If it does, then maybe thats part of the point. Sit with that reaction and think abut it, examine it, explore it, engage it, and grow with it.

Whats the point of creating things if they dont make people think? Or feel or reflect? Especially as an artist or creative? Who wants to see the same thing all the time? And never explore their assumptions? Anyways it looks bomb so AOC concluded while adding the hands up emoji.

I mean is anyone really surprised by her answer? Of course she is going to support anything progressives favor no matter how stupid it is.

If you are a congressman, you certainly would as you're supposed to address your elected colleagues as Congressman/Congresswoman [Last name]. That was AOC's beef with Trump (even though he's just being Trump) and his administration following suit.

Fair point, especially with Trump. I got a kick out of her wanting to compete on school transcripts against a guy who could teach a course on his style of business (that most people wouldn't be able to replicate anyways due to lack of resources/mentorship). But I still expect better from Pence. He generally conducts himself to a more professional standard that you'd expect from a politician.

The lecturing part is not in question, just that you place much value in his lecturing capacity at all. You have to be out of your mind to think the guy who just lost 30+ lawsuits in a row would be any good.

It was from the tweet that AOC brought up about how congressmen don't refer to her as Congressman Ocasio, but AOC. She pointed fingers at Pence as well as Trump.

Yes dude, he can lecture on what he did to become a household name, or in Foreign Policy on why he started a trade war with China, or what were the dynamics that allowed him to pull troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan as opposed to the Obama administration who didn't get the chance, or why he was cracking so hard down on illegal immigrants. He can also lecture on how he was able to draw crowds of insane sizes in a pandemic. Anyone in politics will be studying what he did.

There's always something to learn from someone else's career. And there are people who have done FAR less than what he has accomplished but still you could create a course around. Yet you're arguing that Trump can't teach a course on anything he's done. Why are you fighting this so hard?
