I don't drink coffee and hate it tbh. But the gf does and has been wanting to get a nespresso machine for single-serving espresso stuff at home instead of buying expensive-ass starbucks and such.

What kind of nespresso machine do I need to be getting to ensure that whatever it makes is strong enough? We've used keurig cup-type makers in the past, and she says that they aren't strong enough or something. Are nespresso machines basically the same sort of thing but they make stronger espresso-style coffee? I'd personally really like to avoid a real espresso machine for various reasons.

I am not well versed in this area. Pls help me CE

The problem wasnt the keurig machine it was thr kcups you were getting, they all function the same...that being said try to get one you can actually disassymble so you can clean it, they are basiclly mold colonies if you dont...i mean you can run apple cider vingar through them to clean em too but then your house ends up smelling like hot piss for a week.

From what I've heard from people, nespresso machines work differently in some way to produce stronger espresso-style coffee? We've tried different kcups before in the past
I'm really not sure, that's why I'm asking people lmao

Yeah. The convenience of those sorts of cup/pod thingies but the coffee from an espresso machine. I was under the impression that keurigs and nespresso machines were different in that regard or something

I used to have a Kuerig. If you get one or one like it think about getting reusable cups. The disposable cups are so wasteful.

I eventually stopped using a Kuerig and went back to a regular drip brew coffee maker.

Pretty sure the only diffrence is you can only get the cups Nesspresso uses from Nesspeesso where as Keurig lets whoever wants make em. That could be wrong though.

you're pretty much getting the same thing from both. they're essentially just a drip coffee maker with a pump to provide a bit more pressure. apparently the mespresso uses aluminum pods? if so then you'll likely get a higher pressure so you'll end up with something closer to actual espresso.
