He does have some decent points like how in the original series, everyone else was the voice of reason while the warner brothers (and sister) were the insane ones, but in this new one everyone else is the zany ones and the 3 tend to be the voice of reasons. He also has another point how they keep on referencing that they're a reboot in a lot of the episodes. Yeah it's funny for episode 1 because it explains some things, but then to keep making the same joke over and over again?

With how crazy the world has gotten in recent years, it doesnt surprise me that the Warners zaniness is dwarfed by societys. It almost feels fitting.

Yeah I think that's kinda the point. I will say that the constant revisiting of it being a reboot does get a little tiring. It's a crutch but it's not enough for me to really dislike every joke that brings it up.

I think the reviewer definitely had it in his mind to hate it once the intro song finished though. Seems like he didn't give it a fair shake. Especially when the episodes (at least to the point to where I'm at) are the opposite of what he is interpreting them as.

I think the only scathing criticism I've heard so far that holds water is that supposedly there's one skit which makes fun of Johnny Depp in a way that supports Amber Heard during all the domestic violence accusations.

"But it was written in 2018 before new evidence came out" they say, but that just makes it even shittier that they (like so many others) automatically took her side and when the truth was revealed, most of those same people fell dead silent. No rescinding their remarks, no apologies, not even an "oops".

I don't know how (or even if) the reboot plans to rectify the skit, but you'd think it would be easy enough given they've allegedly pulled and removed content from one episode already.
