I don't like it. I've always thought great video games are defined by their story and gameplay, not how long it takes to beat it. I've played long games that hold my attention through 100+ hours (Witcher 3), and those that I've lost interest in a few hours in (ME:A, DA:I). I've played short games that are brilliant too (Halo story mode is pretty short for example).

If I enjoy a 10 hour game, I'm getting fun for $8/hr. If I don't enjoy a long game (e.g. ME:A), I just wasted $80. So I think that's tertiary to other metrics.
