DANTE20XX 11/28/20 12:55:04 PM #6:	It was pretty decent. It was kinda of spectacular to watch just for the fact that it does look quite real at times. There was a few things they took out of the old cartoon one though that killed it for me. Overall, not a bad movie, but the original was better...though some of that could be pure nostalgia. Dunno what everyone has against this movie though. Its not THAT bad and its not like Aladdin remake which looked atrocious even with Will Smith. Probably just the fact that it felt so unnecessary because it was effectively still "animated", whereas the other live-actions had some people in it (although the Jungle Book was just Mowgli... and Pete's Dragon had always been a mix. The new Pete's Dragon was pretty good, though, and I enjoyed the new Jungle Book.) I will say that the Aladdin remake had its problems and that Will Smith really couldn't stand up to Robin Williams's performance, but it was alright besides that. The only live-action remake I've seen so far that was a complete dud was Beauty & the Beast... then again, I've only seen Jungle Book, Pete's Dragon, Aladdin, and Beauty & the Beast.
