Like you look at somebody who watches that stuff and you think yeah, you look the type. Theres just something off about them. Youre friendly to them when you see them but you have no desire to ever spend time with them.

I agree to an extent, I think CW is a bit more on the cringe side. I haven't found a tolerable DC show outside of maybe Gotham. SyFy at least had a couple that I liked, Warehouse 13 and 12 Monkeys were good.

I thought Channel 0 was just insanely dry. I didn't find it creepy at all, none of the actors got as emotional as they needed to be.

Syfy also had The Expanse which is one of the best shows ever made.

It's the lower budget that does it, I think. It effects almost every aspect of almost every thing about almost every one of their shows.

I think it's because most of the drama isn't artificially manufactured. It feels earned.

Which, btw, is what I think a big aspect of this aura TC's talking about. People in Arrow or Flash or Supergirl all do shit solely to cause drama in the show.

I didn't watch Supergirl but Arrow season 6 was absolute bullshit and We Are the Flash + people randomly getting mad at Barry when he was clearly choiceless was insane garbage writing.

I've never minded "We are the Flash" much, but there's so much pointless melodrama in that show. I think Candice Patton said it best in an instagram post. "I never get to do stuff like this on the show. I'm always crying, I'm always sad."
