The console will still sell, but as far as over saturation and everything. People are going to stop buying games. It's going to be really bad for youtubers as well and all these review sites .

There will be games and the games might actually be good for real gamers out there but as far as money and everything. I just feel like people's interest is dying compared to how much it's been built up the last couple generations where a crash is imminent.

Based on what though?

Digital distribution is a thing and there will still be smaller game companies pushing out games.

I think that AAA publishers have been toxic to gaming as a whole but that won't stop them from releasing their annual cashgrabs.

Seems to me like youtube and sites like this traffic is slowing and interest is slowing. Gamespot and everything else. That signals to me a collapse may be coming. Its not going to grow. The quality might but the market won't.

No i really think it's oversaturated. The boom of internet youtubers like Pewdiepie and Angry Joe is over. It's the Donald Trump effect. There was a recession at the start of Obama then it boomed and Trump just took it further because that's all the media could talk about now Biden is coming in and will try to straighten things out by putting more money in peoples pockets in other ways. But as far as video games I think its a market that might get hit pretty hard. I'm not saying it will die or anything. It might end up like the 90's compared to the 80's. But it won't be the boom that happened over the last 10 years or so.

I don't think it will die. I think there are new companies coming that are backed by a lot of money that are going to be better experiences and offer better quality. People are still going to watch the pewdiepie's of the world. But it's going to be very saturated. The market itself might not be able to sustain all of it. If Trump continued as president it wouldn't. With Biden coming in it might. I'm not on drugs. I think there will be a lot of changes and a lot of stuff from last gen you will see die off if they don't keep up. The people with lots of money will be there regardless and there will be a lot of opportunity too. But for people who aren't smart not so much. I think there will be a shift to higher quality games. Higher quality startups backed by people with money and passion for games. Overall it will be better. But whether the market can sustain it or not is what I'm sayiing. There is going to be a shift as far as saturation. It won't be like it was before where anyone could go on youtube and get a million views. Long time sites that have been around some of them might die off too.

I didn't say Biden will kill video games. I think he will kill a portion of it and expand another aspect of it. It's oversaturated as it is and has become stagant under Trump. It's the end of gen. And it might take a bit to get going. I also think if Biden's policies aren't progressive enough the middle class will get sick of it.

People need money to buy video games. It's as simple as that. And yes there will be more offered for free and higher quality. But people need money and time to do that. And really ultimately how many video games can people play. There needs to be innovation at some point before people really do get sick of it.

What are you smoking? The vast majority of great games cost under twenty dollars. I bought Enter the Gungeon for like $7.50, and that's my favorite game of the generation. The only games that cost me more than twenty were the M2 ports for 35 which are easily worth it, and Bloodborne.

Supply and demand. It's going to be elitist where there will be quality games out there backed by companies coming out of the wood work. A lot of companies already are basically giving games away and it doesn't cost them a cent. Because they have money and are basically making these games on a hedge and are getting richer that way by gouging the market . They have money and can basically do it for free and just get richer. It's crooked in ways but it's what some of these companies really do. As they draw more interest they basically draw interest away from other things. That's sometimes where you end up with over saturation. They get greedy. It happened in the 80's and the market crashed.

It's also telling who you think i am and everything. I look nothing like that. Actually intelligent and better looking than most people here probably. The stuff you assume is more telling than anything. Goes to show the corruption that really is out there and the pure of heart.
