You should give it a try. Hating on Fable games is practically a meme at this point. It's actually really good, and has a good twist in it.

When I want a simple and fun rpg to breeze through I play Lost Chapters probably once or twice a year.

It has a 6.6 user score. Thats just random opinions but enough of em have some negative things to say. And you could at least hear some points to decide if his points are valid. Youre just being the opposite of what you dont like in terms of not hearing anyones criticisms at all.

I don't remember any of the music.

1 & 2 were great, sadly I could not get into 3. Im hopeful for the reboot, I might switch allegiances again from Sony back to Xbox if it ends up being good.

Oh some of that music brings me back. I always loved the magical and mystical vibe the music had. Most of that I don't even remember.

The first, despite its flaws and before The Lost Chapters its lies, has a special place in my heart. I don't know why exactly, but it does. I think it came out at a right time of my life. I was 14 and was really into Lord of The Rings, Harry Potter, other fantasy stuff so the game just aligned perfectly with my interests. I remember playing it while rockin out to Blind Guardian, Saxon, Iron Maiden, and stuff like the LOTR soundtrack. I almost want to play it right now.

2 was fun, but just lacked the certain charm of the first one. I never played 3.
