I'm just viewing these as a disposable product now. I love them but the battery lasts like an hour after two years of use.

But in the end isn't everything basically a disposable product?

Edit: I got pros this time. Noise canceling makes everything sound so weird. It makes me kinda woozy when I do hear sounds because there's such a discrepancy between what I expect and what I get.

Wireless headphones are ewwww.

I mean it's buying a pair of $120 headphones online every other black friday. $170 this year because I went pro. Not buying a pile of headphones each year.

To preserve battery life on phones that currently have worn out batteries. It's not like they programmed in sleep functions or inefficient algorithms and gave them to people with an iphone 6.

Probably true.

I have had the same pair of wireless headphones for nearly two years now. They still sound great, have decent battery life, and aren't a glaring, ugly, luminescent shade of white.

Jabra Elite 65t. The 75t recently came out and boasts a longer battery life, so that might be worth looking into.

Uh not just apple anymore. Pixel 5 doesn't have headphone jacks either and it's likely a trend

I mean, as much hate as I can throw at Apple, I will fully admit they are innovators (for better or worse). They have somehow convinced phone makers that including a 3.5mm audio port on a phone is to wasteful.

Maybe. Maybe not. Many people will still upgrade regardless just to have the new phone. Where many will still keep the older phones as long as they still work well enough...
