I had a fever of 101.5 for about 3 hours and now it's back to 98

I was up to 100.2 last night, but am back to 97.5 this morning. I am pretty sure I just had a head cold but I am going to monitor my symptoms. So far it seems like I may have just had a head cold given how fast I am rebounding.
