You guys are sort of unbiased.

Can you please explain wtf is this Texas lawsuit?

Texas AG is trying to claim that the swing states Biden won unconstitutionally changed how you can vote, and thus it also "devalues" Texas's electoral votes. The most glaring problem with it is individual lawsuits in the swing states themselves have not found the changes to be unconstitutional, so it's a complete non-starter.

The popular thought is that the AG, who is being investigated on certain crimes, is trying to stroke Trump's ego and get a pardon.

States changing their own voting rules isn't unconstitutional. You don't need to be a constitutional lawyer to know this.

They can't say that the method of determining electors is the popular vote in the state, hold the election, and then say "haha just kidding, we're actually gonna choose some other way." If they wanted to use another method they needed to make that change before the election.

Ulti is right, and that's why Texas will lose this case. They have no case that the election process the other states adopted before the election is unconstitutional.

I think he's agreeing with us about the lawsuit being a non-starter, not suggesting they can change how electors are chosen after the fact.

I'm not defending Texas here, you dope. What they're alleging is ludicrous. States change election methodology all the time, which is why our elections are so screwed up in the first place.

I'm a Trump guy but this whole saga has really soured me on the right. It's like Trump, bro, take your loss like a man and shut the fuck up.

The Poway synagogue shooter didn't "have the balls to actually act on his rhetoric," he believed he was fighting to save his family. I suggest you listen to the interviews with him.

It's not about having the balls to commit violence. It's about actually believing that the country and democracy are being stolen right in front of you and no one is doing anything about it. So you have to step up.

Trump previously offered 1.9 trillion, more than double this "bipartisan" proposal. And neither Trump nor Mitch have agreed to this "bipartisan" proposal. Democrats made their choice when they rejected Trump's offer, and now they've got to reap the consequences.

Unfortunately, all of us are going to reap the consequences along with them.

Well anyway sorry for being an ass, I've just been right about everything in U.S. politics since calling that Trump would win in 2016 while everyone I told that to (here in Tennessee) laughed at me. So far still right about how many people believe Trump's lies that the election was fraudulent. When you have that many crazies, the end result won't be pretty.

Doesn't matter what they were carrying if they were legally doing so.

McConnell's house had to have 24/7 police protection due to the threats.

The problem here is you are picking and choosing what is based in reality.

BLM swarmed the Pittsburgh Mayor's house despite the fact he has always been strongly in their favor on the cause.

McConnell's house was swarmed for moving forward on confirming a judge which is how the government is supposed to work.

You can't attribute sane causes to your biases.

Again. You are drawing a line at your biases.

BLM swarming his house was based on the lie that he was against their cause.

McConnell's house being swarmed was based on the lie that he shouldn't be doing that despite it being in the constitution to do.

You are picking and choosing.

You can't pick and choose, my man. Condemn it all without qualifiers or accept the shit happens. I think all three of the events we are discussing were ridiculous and also scary for the person involved.

I don't sit here and handwave one one side does it then act incredulous when the other side does. Just like I don't not scoff at Republican's accusing Biden of earpieces when I scoff at Democrat's accusing Loeffler of it. Consistency. The problem with politics is the hypocrisy across the board. It's mind numbing.

And, stop calling Republicans cult members. You literally expose your bias right there.

It's like me saying white people chanting "Black Lives Matter" in a crowd of people, during the biggest pandemic the world has every experienced, while supporting a prejudiced cause that attributes economic disparity issues to skin color while in reality causing Black people to die from Covid-19 just to virtue signal.

Like, you see how dumb you would take my statement? That's basically your statement flipped for bias on the other end of the spectrum. Chill with all the sweeping generalizations from your bias and stop being hypocritical, bud.

I think you are lacking the context. I am stating how a person on the far right would make a completely outlandish statement based on their opinions to follow it up with "Totally not a cult!". The point was to be outlandish with personal bias. To show you that your take is pretty outlandish also in your bias. I mean, you didn't get it and somehow think people don't get you so whatever. Not going to waste my time on it really, but you are handwaving the left at every turn or downplaying while using very strong imagery in your wording regarding the right. Seems like bias and hypocrisy is all over your comments.

But, if you haven't agreed by now, you simply are not going to. So, nothing I or anyone can say will change your mind regarding it so no point to harp on it. Just saying, this echo chamber will take you seriously cuz you are echoing their thoughts, but you wouldn't get much play outside of people who didn't just hard agree already in the first place.

Their opinion is that they are stealing the vote. Neither stance is based on objectively being correct. And, in both cases, the person was doing what would be expected of their position.

There is nowhere that says you should do what a dead justice wished. Nowhere that says you should let voters have a choice in the nomination, besides the choice regarding those who are in term now because of that choice.

He was hypocritical. But, I don't think we swarm houses and have death threats normally when people are hypocrites.

He started about the process of confirming or denying a new justice as he was supposed to. Just as Kemp certified the results as he was supposed to.

Of course the protesters are there on their opinions. Doesn't change protesters were wrong on their thoughts on the legitimacy of what the two did.

Abolish the police.
This one is real bad. Even the police version isnt justified. Their version is just that he waved a gun out of his car so some time later a police officer confronted him. Officer demanded he put down the legally owned gun. The man, who was not holding the gun at the time, refused and continued to go into his home at which point the officer shot him in the back.

There was no active threat. No violent crime. The man was not trying to run and could have easily been arrested later if they had cause. The officer isnt even claiming to have attempted to arrest him.

And then the police didnt protect the crime scene, interview witnesses, or call the independent state investigators like protocol said. Those investigators now wont take the case because they werent notified for 3 days at which point it was to late to start a proper investigation due to the crime scene being ruined and witnesses dispersing.

That WAS a good read.

It's also not going to happen.

I can't see Biden using Federal resources to go after Trump, so any prosecution is only going to come from the states. To make it worse, I can almost guarantee that Trump will "poison pill" get them to hire a Special Counsel to investigate Hunter Biden just before he leaves office.

As for the "sense of purpose", you know what could do that? The Green New Deal; rebuilding America to deal with inevitable climate change. But I don't think Biden has the chops to be able to sell that to the 50% of America that already scoffs at that idea.
