I recently expanded my collection of PS1 and PS2 games. Now I've got to go through the guides section to copy the texts of each walkthrough into offline documents and format the cheats into something that looks better in wordpad. And I'm doing this for each game. The HTML formatted ones are exponentially more difficult to work with.

I miss when GameFAQS would just have a link to download them directly.

I think he was asking why would you download the cheats at all since you can just look them up online?

I've been homeless once.
I've been unable to afford internet service several times.
Sometimes the internet service just goes out.

Then there's the formatting. If there's a list of achievements or unlockables related to specific levels I'll rearrange them to match the order they become relevant while I'm playing.
