From a certain point of view, Joe Biden didn't win. Not Trump won.Not completely untrue. Many democrats absolutely would not have voted biden if there was any other choice. Literally any other choice I think. They voted against trump, not FOR biden generally. Still not 100% sure why/how biden won primaries. I was told he was pushed into it really hard and the others dropped out...but never quite understood it. Maybe he's just easy to manipulate or not too far left-leaning so he was (oddly) their best shot. I'm sure his connection to obama was a good thing in most people's eyes too.
