Battle for zendikar collector booster boxes. Maybe Kaldheim if it has good stuff in the collector boxes. Masters sets.

standard sets really haven't seen a lot of growth recently (at least the draft boosters. not sure about collectors booster boxes.) I'd look into some of the recent masters sets, they start higher, but they were a lot more likely to appreciate.

Get pokemon hidden fates instead. Or any set with a Charizard really. They'll be a few hundred bucks minimum after a few years. Even evolutions is seeing a rise right now when years ago the company was trying to give those damn things away.

if you can get it super cheap, maybe. masterpiece sets are tough. they got opened when they were new a lot more than they should have, by people chasing the big hits. so, the regular singles are almost always way cheaper than they should be.

but, they're masterpiece sets. so, more people than usual are interested in buying a box as a lottery ticket.

i wouldn't. if i was looking at a standard set, i'd try to find Dominaria or Khans. new zendikar might be a big sleeper hit, if it's been shortprinted due to the in store shutdowns. but that's new territory, so it's harder to predict.

edit: wow, they're a lot more already than i would have guessed. maybe not such a bad buy. almost certainly the masterpiece effect. but, cheapest on ebay and tcg is 180, and a recent auction was only 150. that's a bit worrisome. they seem to sell almost every day, but do they have room to go up from 180? tough call.
