Why is the entire country designed around this height? >_>

I'm just under 5'10" and pretty much everything is designed around my height. I feel like the country was designed for me. I always reach the top shelves and never have to duck under anything made to walk through.

I'm there with you. But sometimes you just gotta use a belt. One time I took one my moms belts and used it for 2-3 years lol.

It's the weight that usually shocks me. I feel alright at a lean 5'11", but I don't have the large frames some guys have. It's not just fat or muscle. They just have big ass frames.

Short in America begins around 5'7 for a male. 5'8 is borderline. 5'9 is about avg. 5'10-6'0 slightly above avg.

It used to be average height. Nowadays with kids growing up with growth hormones in their meat, and all that chemical crap, 6 feet is going to be the average height.

Im 6'5 and its really not that great tbh. Always have to reach shit for people, always have to be constantly aware of where things are because i dont want to split my head open (again), cant never find shit that actually fits because they either never carry clothes of size in the store (Shoes? Forget it....) or theres a 50% mark up for no damn reason (80$ for freaking sweater where the sleeves actually fit, and the fucking zipper broke within weeks)

I feel like America is designed with big people in general, but at the same time, 5'9" isn't short and I don't think anyone REALLY believes that.

Can't do nothing bout height tho, it is what it is. What's the alternative getting a life threatening surgery by extending or getting bone implants on your legs to make you look crocked AF and deformed.

That's why I used my moms belt. The design made it so it had loops throughout the entire belt. It could fit anybody. I even shared it at times.

But you get to pick up chicks and fly them around the room while they pretend to be airplanes. I don't really know if this is why they like tall guys, it's just my guess.

Don't forget having to kneel down to kiss while standing up. I'm not crazy tall (I'm 5'8"), but my bf is a shorty. It's cute the first time, but it's kind of a chore after a while, haha.

I used to play a lot of basketball in elementary and middle school but I never could make the team. I mean I was fat too. So I guess I could have tried harder. But that's the worst part about being short.

Oh, actually, the other worst thing, one time at Walmart this old lady needed help getting something off the top shelf. I said I'd help her, tried, couldn't.

Oh, the other other worst thing is when I thought I was 5'8" but then I dated a gal that was 5'8" and she was taller than me.

Overall it's not too bad, comfortably fitting on a twin bed is a real money saver

Even at my stature I havent bought a belt in 15 years because even as a kid I had to poke my own holes into belts. Got one of those Military ones that you just slide through that was it
