Same people who did the kotor 1 mobile port which is fantastic and actually allows pc mods as the files are the same. From what I hear, they're doing the restored content version available on steam. This'll be great.

That's pretty cool. The mobile version of the first game is pretty good. I never got to far though because I'm not a fan of mobile controls.

I beat the mobile version twice. To mod it, you literally just open the game files on your phone via plugging it in USB as a storage device, and just drag and drop the mods in. You can't use mods that affect controls, but you can use mods that add in shit.

They work decently well for what the game is.

I got excited for a minute but then remembered just how much work kotor is.

First of all, how are they going to squeeze all of that text onto a phone screen

Second of all, do i really want to stick out the first 5 hours of that game, because those are horribly boring

I've bought the first KotOR on pretty much every platform it's ever released on. I'm trying to not do the same with KotOR 2, lol.

The text is up scaled and easy to read (on the KOTOR 1 port)

Its not that bad. Peragus is like 2 hours long at most unless you've totally forgotten everything about it. Telos is a good hour and a half. Again, unless you've forgotten everything about it.

Though to be fair, I have played through KOTOR 2 over a dozen times

Iirc there's a mod, at least for the second one, that lets you skip that entire introductory section

Is the first game worth playing on iPhone? I never played it at all before.

That mod was indispensable because I loved that game and had to play it several times to get all the different light/dark options, but eventually I just couldnt do that damn first planet, and I hated playing the game without a lightsaber
