Well it actually wasn't much of a run, I think in one of the new game+ playthroughs where I had an ultimate weapon I tried using mine thrower for shits and giggles and remember getting bored of it pretty quick. It might be good for occasional use though. Maybe against one of the chainsaw wielders or the bigger scarier enemies, just to see if it does anything to them.
