99% certain it's just symptoms from the flu vaccine and it could even just be psychosomatic at this point but I don't wanna risk that 1% chance that it's something else -_- And the symptoms aren't even that bad, just a little congestion in the head and a slightly scratchy throat that I don't even know if it's scratchy or not.

I don't remember getting sick in the past, even with the nasal spray. Either just getting older or weaker :(

Why don't you use your sick days tho. You don't need to be sick.

We don't have a set number of sick days, it's just one of those things where if you get sick you go in to medical and they do some diagnostics and give you some ibuprofen and send you on your way.

Well, that's how it was when I went the first time like... 13 years ago. Nowadays the system is so fudging convoluted, I think everyone winds up getting referrals to urgent care off base just because you're generally guaranteed to get something same day. And then you have to show paperwork to your chain of command, though I guess my current one is cool with me just telling them I have some symptoms (still called the medical hotline just to have a record of it juuuust in case -_-).

lol seriously. Well, I did get sick on a business trip at the beginning of the year, it was pretty damned miserable but thankfully cleared up after a couple of days and one hella trippy fever dream that I still can't comprehend.

But yeah before that was on a trip home to see family, got something in the stomach, and the time before that was the night before my reenlistment back in 2016 (food poisoning, do not recommend).
