You can literally learn how to do anything from YouTube. That's a YouTube video for everything. Even plumbing becomes super simple. Just watch a video, and they walk you through every step.

It takes time and experience not everyone is skilled at those things or has the tools to do it. If it's something in great need it may be quicker and more inexpensive to hire someone else to do it

Those videos are mostly for mechanically inclined people who already know what they're doing for the most part, not for noobs who don't have tools or never used them.

ya i use them a lot to see if I should even bother.

contractors aren't going anywhere. doing that shit is a real pain in the ass when you work 50 hours a week and don't have all the right tools.
