don't asari age really slowly? like 1000 year lifespan or something? and matriarch benezia was pretty old but didn't look too bad either

It wasn't that bad. The inventory system and the mako were the only really awful things. Enemies constantly rushing you in cover got a bit much too...

Overall I still find it enjoyable and if nothing else it makes ME better as a whole.

I might've actually teared up if it was Tali in the trailer, but nope it was Asari lady.

ME1 is the best, every game after is garbage. I hate the gameplay changes they made amd taking away the rpg aspect.

And here I thought I was the only one. The lack of armor or customization for the party in 2 was so disappointing for me, along with adding ammo/reloading to make it more a shooter. They even ruined 2's NG+ by removing your upgrades until you got them again from the Normandy.

I kinda bet Shepherd won't be in it. I feel like it'll be a new threat is looming (or maybe some Reapers that got away or weren't in the war) typa thing and it's the crew looking for Shepherd so they bounce planet to planet and then Shepherd pops up in the end or they finally get a solid clue to where he might be

That's the difference between hard sci-fi and soft sci-fi. Hard sci-fi is about exploring and extrapolating how scientific concepts would affect society. Soft sci-fi is just adventure with a space/science theme and uses technobabble to explain what in a fantasy story, magic would be used for. Star Wars is the latter.

Now that the Reapers are gone maybe the Leviathans decide they want to retake control of the galaxy while the predominant races are weakened.

I never actually did play the Leviathan DLC, and I can't remember exactly why I didn't. I just read the synopsis and it seems cool. However, where were they during the final battle in ME3? I don't remember them being a factor.

They never actually appear in the final battle. IIRC it's never really elaborated on how they actually contributed to the Reaper war.

i think you get a little blurb about them attacking reaper forces somewhere else. oh, they also 'awaken' some collectors... which is why you could get a collector from lootboxes in the multiplayer...

Nothing short of a full remake will make ME1 less clunky, and that's not what we're getting. Having said that, ME1 is still my personal favorite in the franchise, mainly for it's atmosphere/tone.

I love ME1. I've played it no lie over 30 times.

I don't know how they're going to make a "sequel" to the trilogy, but I'm guessing they'll have to decide which options were considered canon. People are not going to be happy no matter what they decide.

Hopefully it's not the synthesis ending...

this is the exception. ME1 was complete dogshit. It played awfully, the mechanics were fucking horrible, and the graphics were shit even for its era

it had a nice story though tbh (the best out of the 4 imo)

They don't have to do that.

With the remaster coming out they can take people's choices from their remaster save and likely it'll be nothing more than things that might get mentioned from random npcs.

ME3 regardless of ending still basically ends with Reaper's goal to wipe out Organics defeated and Shepard died in the process

I couldve sworn, that in the red ending its heavily hinted and implied that Shepard survives

I know what you're talking about. But that ending was only gotten if you maxed out war assets (until they no longer required it).

Let's say in the remaster you get that ending than transfer the save over to the new game. Bioware can still say that Shepard is MIA and presumed dead.

Really from Shepard's perspective he has no idea what he did. They'd just be retconning the epilogue ending and they can be explained with what Shepard was hoping would happen. But it looks like they are going with destroy.

I do think Liara looking for the N7 stuff is hinting at Shepard returning in some way.

They had glass like orbs that could take over peoples bodies like indoctrination, this also worked on the reaper forces letting the Leviathans control husks, brutes, marauders and the likes. It's mentioned in a text box that the good guys planted those orbs in key locations of the reaper forces, wreaking havoc among their troops.

They should have forgot about continuing the story (in the MW at least), and focused on a full on remake of the trilogy, fixing the issues. Like the ending for one, the dark energy plotline for another.

The only decision that matters is if you let Garrus win or not.
