Current Events > I saw a post on CE the other day, that REALLY got under my skin.

This is pretty rare because, you know, CE, but this disturbed me greatly. I can't remember exactly what the topic was about, but one of the first posts went something like this. You people are going to be at the end of your lives, and look back, and the only thing you'll have to think of is ninety years posting on some message board.

That was a terrifying, monstrous post. I mean, it might end up being true, but still. I do worry about that. Many decades from now (hopefully), I'll look back, and see that the only thing I achieved was posting on a message board, or message boards, for almost ninety years. I won't have my own home. I won't have any children or grandchildren. I won't have a spouse. I won't have any savings. Just posting on a message board. Quite possibly GameFAQs. Horrible.

Of course, the change of GF still being here in about sixty years doesn't seem very likely. Or even the human race neccesarily still exsiting.

What do you think of all this? What topic was it, anyway? Do you think this will be you, in the late twenty first century?

I mean yeah, if it's the only thing you ever did in your life that's pretty pathetic. I'd say (or I hope) most people here don't spend most of their day here.

Talk about being melodramatic, you need to go outside for a while, or get off the net for a while topic creator.
