I'm saying that without knowing anything about who instigated the encounter and what led up to the woman hitting the gas, and knowing that people were in fact trying to violently gain entry into her car, it's unreasonable to just assume that her intent was to murder people for their political beliefs.

Imagine comparing a protest to a fender bender.

Like yeah they both can alter the flow of traffic on the street but that's where the similarities stop. Because one you can wait when it's safe to drive around it or it's clear because you know there'll be a logical end to it.

Where the other is a group of people that may never actually disappear. It's not like these people are just going to vanish into thin air. Get bored or go home. The crowd could maybe even grow as the day progresses. It's not gonna fucking going anywhere is the point

Also there is a ZERO percent chance that a fender bender is going to gain sentience and put your life in danger as you sit there in your vehicle.

The very first frame we see of the car in the video in the OP has a guy beating on the passenger window and a guy trying to open the back door. They were trying to get into her car. Denying that is denying objective reality.

Just don't drive near protesters and you don't even have to wonder how they'll react to a car existing close to them. The protesters have to be logical, but the driver can be scared?

Protesting is legal. Driving is legal. Driving cars near groups of people gets iffy and can make people do stupid things. Simplest solution is to keep the two separated.

if that was happening the situation would have been dicy but correct me if im wrong, no proof has come out that that was underway. theres just a group of people around the car and vague mentions of someone "looming over the hood". there is judging potential harm to yourself, and there is killing people even though you are not actively under attack in any way.

i honestly think even if a cop did this they would have a tough time avoiding prison. the "i feared for my life" excuse doesnt really work with as far as things had progressed in this incident

Start the video in the OP, don't play, and just use the slider to move it along. Between 1 and 2 seconds in you see the car, and there is one guy banging on the passenger side window and another guy with his hand on the back door handle trying to open it.

generally it isn't the responsibility of people in the street to anticipate that someone is going to willingly and intentionally smash into them using their vehicle like a 1 ton projectile. this is why people who hit people with cars are generally arrested instead of the cops standing above the victims crumpled bodies while clicking their tongues and scolding them about being in the road
