We barely beat Trump who was hilariously unpopular. There isn't really a trendy Democratic Party candidate like Obama or even Bernie Sanders up to run in 2024, it will either be Biden again or Kamala. IDK why the establishment of the DNC loves Kamala so much I could see her just barely getting 40% of the popular vote.

I think the Republicans run some hard ass neocon in 2024 and they win in a landslide. This isn't my hope but it's just a prediction.

The right is currently eating itself alive and distancing even remotely moderate traditional Republicans.

Trump may very split off and make a third party, citing the GOP's hesitiation to fully participate in the election nonsense.

I really don't know if either of those things are true.

They ruin the good message by making themselves so insanely unlikable. If you dont follow their exact beliefs down to the sentence structure YOU ARE THE ENEMY TOO.

At least with the far right theyre dumbasses spouting dumbass shit so it goes hand in hand, but the far left conveys the correct belief system in a horrible, obnoxious, unbearable manner that makes the center-left and center go ugh and not really care to help them, even though they agree with them.

i agree. i can see trump being the first real 3rd party candidate. it's 4 years away but the GOP looks to be a mess right now. biden will be 82 so really can't see him running again. michelle obama would have a good chance to win but she say she has no interest in running. so harris seems to be the likely candidate for now.

It's a safe bet, Republicans control the senate so all they have to do is shut down the government a few times and stall any positive legislation, Biden will take the blame because people are stupid and we have a Republican house and president in 4 years.

Consider everything that happened in the last four years: how confident are you, really, about what the state of American politics will look like in four years' time?

You guys realize the Dems were able to win with a female VP who is also black, Indian, and the daughter of an immigrant, self-stated liberal over the past 15 years?

Who also voted for the Green New Deal...and the President pick is a 78 year old man who makes extreme political gaffes and does questionable things with his kids? I voted for Biden, and I actually like his stances, but the Dems really didn't have to try. At all.

If they'd gone super safe with two prim, white candidates in a racist ass country like the USA, I think there's a good chance that a lot of the people who voted Trump out of fear for Kamala would have voted blue.

...but Dems still won with 306 Electoral Votes, and 7.02 MILLION more votes than Trump, who spent his entire campaign doubling down on ignorant fears and igniting his fans.

I'm scared people won't vote Dem in 2024, but I think we'll be okay

Most likely. Trump losing was more a referendum on people being sick of Donald Trump and the dems faltering hard downballot was proof of that.

Do you think she's less exciting than Joe Biden, who beat Trump fairly comfortably?
