I thought who doesnt have one?, and turns out quite a few never do anything on their own and never owns tools...

My father in law has one that I borrow when I need it. My normal drill is fine for pretty much everything I need it for.

I have a regular drill, an impact driver (which i use a lot more), and an impact wrench (pretty much only used on my car)

Oh, no "impact drill" is different. Imagine you're using a screwdriver, but as you turn you smash the back of it with a hammer to help drive it into whatever it is you're trying to put the screw in.

Impact drill is very handy when you want to put a screw in a stud. A common home use would be if you're trying to stabilize your tall bookshelf (so it doesn't fall) or wall mount your TV.
