I absolutely loved MGSV. But Skyrim is a game people will talk about for decades.

MGSV and it's not even close. Skyrim is the most lowest-common denominator game that's not sports or a cinematic experience from Sony. GTAV is nothing special, but it's still better than Skyrim. Morrowind was peak TES, Oblivion was mostly good, especially Shivering Isles, but Skyrim?!?! Really?!

I think Dragon Quest V is the best V, better than Final Fantasy V, though that too was a very solid title. SquareSoft and Enix were in the middle of their prime back then.

That's a really hot take. Dragon Quest V is an exceptional game (probably unrivaled at the time) but Final Fantasy V has way better replay value, in fact it has aged better than basically every early 90s JRPG.

GTAV is a genuinely great game that improves on it's predecessor.

Skyrim, while fun, is a much more broken mess and mixed bag as a sequel. Oblivion was better in just as many ways as it was worse.

Honestly I fell out of Dragon Quest after 3... so I don't know anything about the later games.
Yea you're right Square and Enix were great companies back in the day.

Skyrim was way less buggy than Oblivion, just like Oblivion was way less buggy than Morrowind.

I'm pretty sure the bugginess of Skyrim is way overblown. I think people just watch a bunch of glitch compilation and believe that's all from the vanilla game. People used to disable vsync for a significant performance boost, and doing so causes most of those hilarious physics glitches. Also people run hundreds of mods and claim their game is stable, then when it inevitably falls apart they blame Bethesda for making a buggy game. When you play the game it's actually pretty rare to experience any of those bugs. It happens, but not nearly as often as people make it seem.

The glitches I experienced in Skyrim where mostly visual. Like a dragon corpse stayed arounf my house forever. It woulf be in a different spot evertime I went home but it would be there. Once it did block my front door though.

Anyways I thought this was gonna be a poll on characters named V. Protag of cyberpunk v for vendetta and venom who at least once gets called V in his game.
