Someone you know ends up being important and having a Hollywood biopic made about their life.

Then you discover that you're going to be in it as a character due to some stuff you did with/to the important guy.

But then you're shocked when the movie is being cast, as the role of you is going to be played by a girl! She will still be doing a dramatisation of shit that you really did to people you know.

Some producer decided it would be a better movie that way .

Sounds like the producer is trying to straightwash the film, so that sounds scummy. If it's any other reason, then I'd probably be flattered by the choice.
