"And I say we'll just let it be my shoulders and back. The wedding dress, and the wedding itself, should be more elegant and lovely, and while the attention will be on Rorek and myself, I shouldn't be drawing attraction to my great legs."

"Very good," Rachel says with a smile. "You girls could learn something from that."

"But we don't have amazing legs like Raven," Roselind pouts.

"Or curves," Rebecca says. "Amazing curves."

"Well," Rachel says with an awkward look around and a blush. "That's..."

"Let's just move on," Ruth says. "How about a color scheme? You know, for the wedding party's dresses and tuxedos."

"Yes, of course," Rachel says. "Though, who did you have in mind for that? Bridesmaids, maid of honor, et cetera."

"Oh, well," Raven says. "I guess I'd have to say my friend, Starfire, is in there somewhere. I'm sure I can ask other female members of the Titans if they're interested. But I guess color scheme wise..."

"We can do black and white. For one, it fits the Family of Null."

Raven motions to the twins wearing their black and white outfits, as well as Grandmother Ruth with her own simple white blouse and long black skirt.

"And those colors go with a lot of other colors," Raven says. "Starfire has very red hair, very green eyes and very golden orange skin, so being in black or white will work for her. Um... Maybe white as the main color. All black dresses would make it seem like a funeral."

"Yes, that's true," Rachel says. "So white dresses, black frills at the top... Maybe belts? Wide leather belts with shining silver clasps."

"I like that," Arella says. "It'll look elegant, clean, crisp."

"Can we be in the bridal party?" Rebecca asks for herself and Roselind.

"Please~?" Roselind asks.

"Well, yeah, sure," Raven shrugs. "Hmm... That's three... I could probably as Bumblebee, and then..."

"I guess Jinx is fine. We may not always get along but she's one of the only female Titans I really know well enough."

"Well that's fine," Rachel says. "Your bridal party is your bridal party."

"So that's up to five," Raven says. "I guess that's enough."

"Our extra time out in California will help, then," Rachel says. "We'll get the dress measurements for your friends and have them made in time for the wedding."

"Alright, sounds like a plan," Raven says. "Can I change out of my swimsuit now?"

"Oh, yes, of course," Rachel chuckles. "Go right ahead."

Raven returns to the bathroom, changes back to street clothes and returns to put the swimsuit away.

"Next for us to determine," Rachel says, "the bachelor and bachelorette parties. Now obviously, you both are too young for anything inappropriate, and I don't think that'd be good to have in the first place."

"Same here," Raven says.

"But that aside, we can either have them separately or together," Rachel says.

"Together? That's a thing?" Raven asks.

"Yes, I believe they're called Jack and Jill parties."

"Let's stick with separate parties," Raven says. "The boys should have some boy time, and we girls can have some girl time."

"A very good choice," Rachel smiles. "We'll worry about the details of each party closer to February."

"Of course," Raven says.

"Now, let's talk walking down the aisle," Rachel says. "We know you don't like talking about your father, at all, and that is completely understandable."

Raven nods and Arella holds her own head high.

"But perhaps someone else can give you away?" Rachel asks. "I'm sure Grandfather Sixth will gladly volunteer if you want."

"I don't know," Ruth says. "I think Raven walking the aisle herself sends a strong message. She's a strong young woman, she broke through our tradition, she can leave others behind."

"I guess I could walk with Grandfather Sixth," Raven shrugs. "If he's willing to, I'm not one to refuse. Though, will he want to?"

"Well, he had no daughters so he never got to give one away at the altar," Ruth says. "He might be very excited to do this."

"Alright," Raven shrugs. "We can ask him a little later. Any other ideas for what we can figure out now?"

"Well, a guest list, and with that the seating arrangement," Rachel says, "but also there's the cake, the menu for the reception, and maybe how to handle the dances during the reception. You know, the first dance for you and Rory as a couple, and then dances with the parents."

"Well that last one will need Rorek," Raven says. "Let's focus on..."

"The guest list and seating. Obviously everyone here and in the family is invited, then the Null-Xenos extended family should be considered."

"So that's eight from our side," Ruth says. "And... how many is it from Radella's side?"

Raven does a quick count of Great-Aunt Radella, husband Alessandro, then the next generation of Aniol and Jacintha, Hector and Solona, Gelasius and Galatia, then the distant cousins, Jonas, Phineas and his wife Oleisia, Nella, Farris, Theron, Lalia and Larissa. Then the great-grandchildren, Basil, Majorie, Adara, Filia, Tana and Andres.

"That's 22," she says. "Oh, and what about the Wilmarths?"

"Well yes, they'll be coming, too," Rachel says. "They can help with the food, decorations, and other things."

"And they can be guests, too, right?" Raven asks.

"The Wilmarths are...?" Arella asks.

"They're our butlers and maids," Rachel explains.

"Oh," Arella says. "I should have guessed."

"So that's another nine," Raven says. "We're at about 40 already... The Titans being in town would definitely double that. We should probably just round it to 100 chairs and leave it at that."

"That sounds good," Rachel says with a smile and chuckle. "So let's see... The wedding party table, for the reception, will have you and Rory, then Ms. Arella, Ronald and myself, Grandmother Ruth and Grandfather Sixth, and the twins, that's nine of us. So let's say 90 people at their own tables. Ten people per table at most, so nine other tables?"

"Good math," Raven says. "One table that's super easy to arrange is with my friends, the original Titans. Put Robin, Starfire, Cyborg and Beast Boy at that table, and then Bumblebee and Jinx because they're in the bridal party. That's six, so the rest of Titans East can join them for ten."

"Alright," Rachel says, taking notes. "The Null-Xenos will take up quite a few tables of their own."

"Well there can be a kids table," Ruth says.

"Oh, that's a great idea," Raven says. "I can just see the Null-Xenos great-grandkids sitting there, and then the Toddler Titans."

"Who're the Toddler Titans?" Rachel asks.

"Oh, well, they're a trio of very young Metahumans," Raven explains. "I got a bit of the short straw at the time, but after spending time with them, and protecting them from an evil, super intelligent gorilla with a French accent, I grew to really like them."

"Aww~," pretty much everyone else in the room says.

"Okay, stop," Raven chuckles with a roll of the eyes. "But it'd be really adorable to see little Andres sitting with Teether and having their little kids meals."

"Is Teether his superhero name?" Rachel asks.

"Um, I guess technically," Raven says. "But I never really heard any other name for him. Even his siblings, the other two, called him that."

"Well that sounds adorable," Ruth says. "Where would we put the kids table?"

"Probably not too far from where I'll be at the wedding table," Raven says. "It's been awhile since we've seen each other, but I feel like they'd really want to be close to me or they'd get a little upset."

"So let's do a basic arrangement like this," Rachel says with nine dots in 3-by-3. "Think like a phone. Do you want them in the front row, 1-2-3?"

"That'd probably be best," Raven says. "Let's go with..."

"Spot number 2. They'll be front and center so we can all keep an eye on them. And I mean all of us, the whole family, the other Titans, anyone who needs to help the kids with things."

"Yes, very good," Rachel says. "The kids at spot 2, perhaps the Titans in spot 1 so that they'll be on our right, then Roger, Rita, Ross and Reed in spot 3. The Null-Xenos can be in the center at spot 5 as their children will be at table 2. That way, all sides are supported. Well, wait, even minus the children, that's 15 or so... Oh, spot 3 can also have the Null-Xenos sit with Roger's group."

"A very strategic seating arrangement," Ruth says with a smile.

"Let's say the buffet table is near the back," Rachel says. "We should have the Wilmarth's stay close to keep an eye on the food. They can be in the eighth spot."

"Alright," Raven says. "Then the last four tables are for the rest of the Titans. It'll be obvious to go by their region. Titans North is Jinx's team, they can be in spot 4 behind Titans East and the main Titans. There's only a handful so Titans South can join them. On the other side, spot 6, that can be our international members from some of our recent expansions."

"Two tables left," Rachel says.

"Do the Titans really have enough members left to fill them?" Arella asks.

"Well, to be fair, I took the wedding party into the calculations by mistake," Raven says. "But... Well, yes, one table can be our honorary and provisional members. There are quite a few young sidekicks we could invite. Batgirl, Supergirl, Wonder Gal, Zatanna, Ms. Martian... Wow, didn't realize how many of them were girls. But I'm sure there are others. We can have them in table 7. And table 9 are a lot of the even more fringe members. Killowat has a team he's formed, I wouldn't mind actually getting to talk with them, actually."

"Alright," Rachel says. "That's everything on the seating, then."

"Okay," Raven says with a sigh of relief. "In that case..."

"Let's just sit back and watch some television."

Raven gets the remote and she sits down with Arella on her bed. The twins make room for their mother on the other bed while Raven checks the cable guide.

"Oh well this should be nice, right?" Raven says. "The Beauty and the Beast, live action remake."

"Yes, that'll be fine," Rachel says.

"Emma Watson's so good as Belle," Roselind says.

"Well she's so good all the time," Rebecca says.

In the movie, a moment that was added from the original animated movie is Belle inventing a primitive washing machine for laundry. And the people take offense to that because technology is apparently scary. They wreck her washing machine, and tell her to stop teaching the little girl to read, but Belle leaves it at that since the villagers won't listen anyway.

"Ugh," all six women scoff; then they each realize the others did it, too, and share a little laugh.

"Good thing the world's gotten better at accepting women," Raven says.

"Well, there are still a lot of ways 'the world' hasn't gotten better at that," Rachel says. "But yes, it's at least gotten better than that."

"If anything, you listing how major superhero sidekicks are female is proof of that," Ruth says. "For the longest time, the only major female hero was Wonder Woman. But then Hawkgirl arrived, and yes there were quite a few more female villains than heroes even then, but then I believe you and the others formed the Teen Titans, and you and Starfire became major figures in that community."

"Oh, well," Raven says with a blush. "I never really thought of myself as a role model or inspiration or anything remotely like that."

"Well you should," Rebecca says. "You're an original Titan!"

"A pioneer!" Roselind adds.

"A trailblazer!" Rebecca adds.

"A trendsetter!" Roselind adds again.

"A... A...?" Rebecca says, thinking on another synonym.

"I think that's enough as it is, girls," Rachel says. "But yes, that is definitely where Raven is in history."

Arella gives a proud smile and hugs Raven. Raven herself feels...

Proud. She feels very proud to be such an important person.

"Well, thank you, everyone, for saying that," Raven smiles.

Back in the movie, Belle's father, Maurice, leaves on his trip to take his inventions to the big city. But of course that doesn't work out when a tree falls in his path! That's different from the animated movie. Maurice has no choice but to go the other route, and ends up in a part of the forest where it's snowy and cold, despite there not being any snow anywhere else. Another difference from the original animated movie.

Maurice finds his way to the castle and up to the front door. His horse drinks up at the fountain, he is let inside, and the servants manage to guide him to a parlor with a fireplace, where warm tea is waiting. And then Chip blows his cover and now Maurice is a bit frightened. Maurice leaves the castle, starts to make an exit, but then sees the garden. He stops here and decides to pick a rose. And that is when The Beast appears and confronts him! Another change from the animated movie, but the result is the same: The Beast imprisons Maurice for trespassing, and now in this version, theft.

Maurice's horse runs all the way home, and only when it returns without Maurice does Belle understand something happened. She has the horse bring her all the way back to the castle, and she sees the permanent Winter for herself. She goes to the front door and the horse definitely needs to drink water from the fountain this time.

You knock on Room 2N while keeping an eye on Father and Sixth.

"Raven," you say. "Who all is in there?"

"We're all here, Rorek," Raven says.

"Good," you say. "Mother and Grandmother can help."

"Oh, dear," Grandmother Ruth says.

The door unlocks and opens and your mother and grandmother already understand as your father and grandfather giggle and smile as they wobble. Grandfather Sixth still has some pretzel sticks from the bar that he's using as walrus tusks and your father is laughing like he's a child seeing this for the first time.

"Oh heyllo, darling," your father says as he sees your mother. "Hafyu seen the pretzel walrus?"

"Alright, you two," your mother says. "You two need to turn in a little early."

"Aww..." your father says, again like a child.

Your mother and grandmother usher your father and grandfather along towards their rooms, and you join Raven, Arella and your sisters in 2N.

"Oh, the live action Beauty and the Beast," you say as you see the TV.

You sit with Raven and Arella on the one bed, but with Raven between you and Arella of course. Your sisters apparently get lonely on their bed so they hurry over and glomp onto Arella and Raven.

"So before my father and Sixth went a little overboard," you say, "we discussed specifics on breakfast for tomorrow. We decided on..."
