that they've always existed in that world, but were somehow hidden, like a place housing them (Genosha or Krakoa) was hidden, similar to Wakanda?

or they have always existed, but a powerful telepath, like Xavier, hid them?

they didn't exist in that world, but Iron Man's snap at the end of Endgame somehow brought them to that reality?

Doctor Strange or Scarlet Witch will bring them to that reality with their abilities somehow?

House of M took place in the 70s or 80s or something and <100 mutants exist in the world.

First person since that event born with mutant powers gets notoriety and theres a big scramble between the bad guys trying to kidnap them to seize control of the future of the species,

maybe in WandaVision, Scarlet Witch will go crazy and then unleash her full power and somehow that manifests the mutants into existence. her powers will change reality and the timeline and it will be like mutants were always around. she just like.... inserts them into history. I don't know. probably makes more sense in my head than how I am making it sound.

another idea would be to say the FoxMen universe is canon in another universe and have them visit the MCU. but I kinda want new actors. everyone's too old now

They've always been there really is the best way to do it. There's no reason to rewrite the entire universe just to introduce mutants. They've always been fairly reclusive and try to only interfere in mutant problems. They've also got a couple of Omega level telepaths who can just straight up MiB people so no one even remember seeing a drag out fight with Sabertooth or whoever. Them people secretive and messing with peoples' brains is also a much better reason for anti-mutant sentiment than "idk, racism, I guess".

A event could happen later in MCUs timeline that will awaken the gene in most people. But I'm not sure how long it'd take in continuity for teams like the X-man, or brotherhood to form.

Or how they will be differentiated from other, (non mutant) meta humans. Which was never handled very well even in the comics.

have Wolverine show up, and Bucky can be like they're old buddies from WW2, or something like that

or Storm and Nakia can be rivals since Storm used to date Black Panther

Indeed. That's why it would be perfect for them to just show up like it's no big thing. The audience already knows why they weren't around before.

Basically do the reverse of what they did in House of X. Reveal themselves from their 'mutant haven' and demand to be integrated in civilization. Would be cool if they used their new designs too but I doubt they would.
