These are the 2 sides brewing in the fight to stop covid-19...

Science, the majority opinion where it is believed mask wearing, social distancing, hand washing and vaccines are the way to stop the spread.

Jesus, where the minority believes if you pray hard enough and trust what Jesus has in store for you, you will either survive the virus or die because it was all under "god's plan"

So which do you side with?

I imagine Jesus would be more effective, if he got off his ass and did something. But he's kinda hands-off.

"Bigger than" can just be interpreted as more famous or popular than. And it seems a pretty clear reference to the Beatles.

well, not the 'only' way. As we learned in the 12th century a mass murder can contain a virus as well.

The correct answer is both.

"Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind." - Einstein.

Of course, "science" can often be wrong. In the beginning Fauci used to insist that masks are ineffective. Now he insists that they are important. Other scientists believe that while they may minimize the chances of viral infection, they cause people to unnecessarily breathe through layers of bacteria. Who knows the truth? God knows the truth.

Scientists believed at first that COVID-19 was airborne. So they dictated the "6-ft social distancing rule." Later they discovered that the virus can stay on surfaces for hours, and that anything under 20 feet is still not safe. Who knows the truth? God knows.

God expects us to listen to Him, while acting wisely. If science is not mature enough, we must use common sense. In short, faith and deeds go hand-in-hand.

It's funny how a lot of religious people do get "the look", like she has. It's like this Twilight Zone-esque happy mannequin expression. My buddy's wife is hardcore into that stuff and could be that woman's sister. The expression just adds to it.

Both. God gave humans free will, and some of those took that free will and decided to become doctors and scientists. (Yes, I also believe in evolution. My dad looked too much like a gorilla to be a coincidence.)
