The Expanse is pretty great "grounded" scifi

I'll second the expanse. First book is Leviathan Wakes. It has some tech concepts similar to Blade Runner but it's mostly pure Sci-Fi with a bit of politics involved . If you enjoyed Snow Crash and Neuromancer I would recommend the other two books in the Sprawl Trilogy.

Ive seen most of the Expanse TV series (havent started the new season yet)... would it be worth starting the book series anyway?
