go out to BK and try the Impossible burger

You dont have to be into meat or be a vegan to recognize how much better it actually tastes

It also makes you aware of how much everything else in a whopper is meant to produce the illusion of tasting meat because that meat we get is so bland that the only taste we get is the literal scorching of the grill

One of the things I realized quickly when I went vegan is how unimportant meat is for so many recipes. Often you're coating it in sauce and seasoning and can't even taste the meat all that much. I understand why someone would want to eat a steak since there isn't a good substitute for it, but stuff like ground beef is so easy to replace or replicate.

Terrible name, but a step in the right direction for them. These fast food chains need to stop being clueless about Vegans though. They need to stop offering plant based burgers with dairy cheese and dairy condiments.

Because it tastes good. Can't help it if that's what the companies are making. It also helps attract meat eaters and doesn't confuse if vegans start calling their alternatives plant slabs lol.

You are overemphasizing the environmental and health aspects of veganism. But that's not veganism. It's about the animals. I feel like when people criticize veganism they like to go after the environmental and health aspects more because it's uncomfortable to talk about the animal exploitation aspect.

Vegans aren't opposed to meat itself. They're opposed to the fact that animals have to die, usually after a short life on an overcrowded farm, for it to be made.
