Started the Casino DLC.

I'm barely starting and I've gotten like four million dollars.

Certainly less of a pain than the Sierra Madre.

Im not sure if it was entirely deliberate, but the two antagonists were so irritating I almost stopped playing.

Also, annoyed that the devs pussed out and didnt include a quest around a data drive accidentally left at a restaurant

You can also burn your Eridium at Earl's Shop to kickstart high level Mayhem play.

I've been doing that to get a few of my favorite reward guns, but forgot to do Mayhem for most.

My Gracie is 2. Found a Nemesis at 1, which is great.

Lootsplosion is helping me get my Eridium back up in a hurry.

Also cash. I have to turn down anything less than 30,000 or I'll run out of space in like two fights.

Sinking my first 50 Guardian tokens into Hunter to get that cooldown bonus.

Between Lootsplosion and Luck boosts, shit's getting ridiculous.

I found 2 legendary mods and a grenade last fight, just pulled a Maggie from a fucking locker.

The soundtrack to this DLC really reminds me of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

Not a bad thing, game had a hell of a soundtrack.

Also I'm not mad at how fast the Hyperion boxes open now.

Cyberpunk might be a mess on consoles, but some of the complaints seem to be from people who fell victim to hype. Cyberpunk isn't going to revolutionize gaming. It isn't the sort of game that the 'choices matter' crowd wanted, where the devs put in 30x the work compared to other games in order to make all choices at all points spiderweb into a myriad of scenarios. As an aside, oddly enough, Baldur's Gate 3 might scratch that itch instead, even though that game has detractors claiming it's just "Divinity 2.5 with a D&D label slapped on".

Instead the game feels a bit like a Far Cry title set in the Cyberpunk universe. It's just that they added some light dialog choices on top. Between that and decrypting and reading data shards you can open up some minor things, including quest options, but you aren't going to decide the fate of Night City or anything like that.

Character builds have a fair amount of diversity though, from hacking wizards that don't even have to enter an enemy compound to neutralize targets to a walking tank lugging around a heavy machinegun that can also fire rockets from a mechanical wrist modification. There's also an unexpected amount of parkour possible, with at least several secret dev rooms suggesting that the parkour is intended.

By far the best weapon you picked up is the Hellwalker....try it lol.

Get Boom Enhance for your Clone and the capstone that lets it use your equipped weapon. Then marvel at the obscene DPS that thing puts out with its 3 shots per second. The Hellwalker is extra scary in the hands of the Clone.

Oh, I've been doing that.

He usually had Nemesis all through the DLC, but that's not cutting it anymore.

Dude's a beast, I'd just throw him down and fuck off somewhere else for a minute looting, come back to him standing there surrounded by hundreds of thousands of dollars, a few dozen pieces of Eridium, and about 40 assorted items.

Things got a lot more straightforward with my new guns.

Gonna experiment more with Hellwalker and a few others now that the entire goddamn world isn't armored.

so i used my Epic Games holiday coupon on the standard edition for this game. i played it for a couple of hours and while it doesn't reinvent the wheel (it's moar Borderlands), i still enjoy it! pretty solid co-op multiplayer game tho!

however, it felt like the gunplay didn't pack that same punch as the previous titles. for instance, when i used the pistol, felt like i was using a paintball gun. heck i haven't played the previous titles in years so maybe it wasn't that different, i dunno... lol but either way, it didn't stop me from enjoying this game!

Depends on the pistol.

Like, if you're using a repeater like a Dahl or Tediore then yeah, not a lot of oomph.

Get you a Jakobs and blow someone's torso off.

Glad you're enjoying it, though. It's super fun.

The idea is to toss a bunch of expensive CoV Launchers and various sniper rifles into the Bank with your high level character. Then your new character pulls all that stuff out and sells it.
