Vesperia is great, but the Definitive Edition made me realize there were some slight rose glasses there. Still love it, but it slid a bit.

An individual making 250k a year would not see any of their 2k because it would phase out entirely.

Hell a couple making 250,000 would also not receive anything because a combined 4,000 stimulus would phase out entirely after 230,000 so it would take multiple children to leave any amount remaining and it would still be greatly reduced by the phasing.

TL:DR. Occasional good user and excellent guides, but ultimately a site with little redeeming value outside of using the guides due to a very toxic forum that possibly is alt-right.

His phrasing was a family of 5 would receive stimulus money despite making over 250k and having a comfortable job.

He is using a very dumb argument but also one that has a super easy fix.

Since the phaseout is $5 every $100. The phaseout obviously goes a lot deeper in income due to this since it's $2000 and not $600. Instead of phasing out at like 87.5k for person completely, it would be like idk 125k or something now. This is how he gets to his 250k for a family.

Obviously it is a dumb argument (he calls it socialism for the rich) and could just be rectified by making the phase out $17 for every $100 instead of $5 or so if it's truly an issue for some. (Only if the extra $1400 is added, or just $12 per $100 on just the $1400 extra portion).

On the GameFAQs stuff... This specific board has gotten much better, not worse. I remember a decade ago this board would constantly get derailed by trolling and the horrible anti-feminist crowd. Now the worst have left and everybodys wise to the trolls that remain. Its funny that someone said that GameFAQs forums are a home for Gamergaters given that here I think it was an inflection point that resulted in that horrid crowd leaving or getting ignored. I think as a community, Board 8 has come a long way and is a genuinely pleasant, progressive place. Of course, the site as a whole has a huge majority of progressives, but I think other boards are more prone to getting derailed by far-right trolls. It sounds like CE is still a dumpster fire though!

Of course, I finally ignored Vlado, so I dont know what hes up to! Might still be making openly fascist topics and getting away with it because everyone has him on ignore.

Economically they are pretty to the right, supporting big companies, supporting corporate expansion, there was even a poll recently that had a huge majority (something like 77%) say they support capitalism and oppose public ownership of the means of production. That is not left wing.

You might say that they take aspects from the left and right, which is centrism! You can call them liberal, but not left.

There is no doubt both the Democratic and republican parties are right wing on the spectrum you are talking about yes. Mostly because they both have the same end. It doesn't change the fact that the forum there is extremist and left. It's the portion of the party that the establishment Democrats try to ignore as much as possible while pocketing their votes. Technically I've never "used an alt" in the context people are typically using it for (getting around blocks, posting moddable stuff without consequence, etc, hiding their identity, etc). I just make new accounts when I get invested in something and then seek out if the account is taken yet without having to add any numbers at the end, and jump on the opportunity. Honestly shocked I got this one!
