Depends on where it is. Calf cramps got nothing on thigh cramps, terrible way to wake up in the middle of the night. A magnesium supplement usually clears any recurring leg cramp issues up.

I get anywhere from 2-7 a day, sometimes while I'm sleeping. Sometimes I can't walk for a while after.
I use a 1-10 rating system now a days. Anything under a 7 I can mostly ignore.

First time I got a "charlie horse" was 12 years ago. No one had ever told me about them in my entire life, so I legit thought it was some kind of episode, would have been terrified but since it happened in the early morning I was too blinded by the pain to think or feel fear.

From then on I definitely decided that stretching was no joke and I was gonna stretch after jogging always.

I still get them on and off every year since then.
