I don't really get why Astel doesn't want any clips of his karaoke streams. He's really good, and I feel he would get a huge sub boost if more people knew about it. I got at least one friend to sub to him because he happened to be doing Disney songs at the time. I mean, I'm sure he's given the reason before, but I always thought clippers tended to give a huge boost to the main channel.

I don't think I ever heard why from him directly but I remember someone saying the reason he gave was that he wanted to make the streams themselves feel more special. Like, because you can't just watch it whenever or watch it over and over in archive/clips. I think it's kinda a shame too since he's a great singer but well, if that's how he wants it that's how it's gonna be

Princess Connect Re:Dive is one of the most popular and highest grossing mobile games in Japan and China, with really high production values (including fully voiced anime-style cutscenes) and a very F2P-friendly system compared to most gacha games. The game is launching globally next month, and it also had an anime adaptation air earlier this year. Considering how much Crunchyroll has put into the series (they were in charge of both localizing the game and streaming the anime globally) they clearly think it'll be really popular outside of Japan too.

So yeah, this is a pretty damn good game/company to be sponsored by. Good for the HoloEN girls.

It's a mobile gacha game. Those are not designed to be "good", they're designed to drain as much money from the players as possible.

There are good mobile gacha games, but funnily enough, they're the ones that people don't ever talk about, but people who have tried them basically sticks with it for a long long time. If it dies within a year or two (or less), it was either poorly managed and marketed or shitty games people got fed up with

Depends but Hololive uses an in-house phone app and phone camera to capture the facial movement and then transmits the animation to OBS or something. But you can just use a webcam for motion capture too. For the avatar, they make a thing called Live2D, which is used for a lot of anime games nowadays
