NZ is the gold standard, and we've got a COVID flare-up on our hands at the moment, but my region of the state has managed to avoid the virus entirely. There's every chance that shit will continue to get closer as time goes on, at which point I'll be locking up as tightly as I can, but I can thank my location and the wider efforts of the COVID hotspots to stay contained - at least, moreso than American COVID hotspots - for the fact that I was able to completely avoid the virus and see my nan and pop this Christmas. --- Make it through this year, if it kills you outright.
