Watching some documentary about the Universe which is advertised as just about... exploring and understanding the universe and it's rated TV-14 for "Fear and Smoking" (wtf).

The explanations in this show are crazy as shit. They have some lady in scanty clothing doing fire dancing and stuff to illustrate the orbit of planets >_>. Everything else is pretty normal and straightforward.

TV-14 is basically the most common rating. It's basically the modern day PG, and is also a financial decision since anything less is usually viewed as for children, and could hurt sales.
It's like with movies. Animated children's films - even Disney and Pixar - are PG now. You hardly see G anymore, and anything below a PG-13 is viewed as "for kids". --- ...I think I'm done here... ... Copied to Clipboard!
