This is a bad idea, I doubt you will get to BH before you start to burn out since AC 1 is so tedious.

I remember I got AC1 on clearance at Target many years ago, after hearing people talk about it for so long. I couldnt even make it through the tutorial, I thought it was terrible and didnt try another one until Black Flag, which I actually liked, so I now just pick and choose which ones would suit my tastes.

You will burn out. There's I think 12 mainline games. The PS3 games, for 100% completion, I'd estimate 40-50 hours. Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, over 100 easily. Odyssey took me 140 for the platinum, including dlc. I'm at about 125 hours for Valhalla currently and nowhere near finished.

Don't 100% every game in a row. I only played up to 3 but each game takes like 30-40 hours to 100%. Just clear the main story for each game then try to 100% at a much slower pace because it's much more tedious.

My brother attempted this before Valhalla and was burnt out by Revelations. So take it slow.

Like most people I dropped the series after brotherhood, and like most people I decided to pick the series back up again after Origins came out (especially after hearing that they finally did Ancient Egypt, one of the top 3 settings fans wished for since the series began)

I definitely don't recommend playing them back to back though... Ezio trilogy is alright even though the 3 games outstay their welcome; 2 of the 3 being in the same setting is hella tedious.

AC 4: Black Flag is one of the surprise hits in how good it was and how self-aware it was, especially since 3 was so bad/underwhelming/disappointing. I basically consider it a better wind waker. It's how sailing the ocean should have felt like. Hunting whales and doing actual piratey stuff was definitely fun.

The follow-up is basically akin to an expansion game, mercifully short because that ridiculous story isn't even so bad it's good. And it's not as fun to sail since it's a bit more icy this time around compared to the caribbean setting of Black Flag.

AC unity is even more disappointing, they wasted the setting of french revolution. It's probably the most disappointing entry imo. The game performance is also super choppy, the first entry in the ps4 gen.

AC syndicate is slightly better in mechanics but hoo boy is it boring. First off london is a super boring setting, and it's like, way too close to modern day, only a hundred or so years.

Then you get to Origins, and wow does it get better. Bayek is easily one of the greatest protagonists of gaming, not just AC series. And the long awaited Ancient Egypt setting is everything one could hope for and more.

I still haven't gotten to playing Odyssey. Probably will sometime next year.

I attempted this around 2 years ago, stopped shortly after getting into Revelations. it took me 2 or 3 weeks I think to get that far. I plan to eventually continue but keep putting it off. I was all burned out

I was trying to do a similar thing in my playthrough of the series but in Brotherhood I screwed up my save file somehow and had to restart and after that I just decided to rush through the game as fast as I reasonably could >_>.

Good luck. I did that once and burned myself out on the series for years once I got to Unity.

I still don't really feel like getting back into it to continue the marathon. >_>

i played ac2, bro and ac4 before i got bored of the series. it took until odyssey went on sale before i even considered trying another ac game. and by the end of odyssey i have no desire to ever play another ac game. i spent just over 100 hours on odyssey and its 3 dlcs, no plat as i don't care for trophies but i did almost all the quests except the blue tales quests.

doing the main story only, you may get through them all. but 100%, there is no way you won't get sick of it.
