Nobody seems to know who this guy is. No known family, and lived by himself or something.
Edit: Apparently there was a known relative used to match Warner's DNA.

It's amazing how little attention this story has gotten. Probably because nobody was killed except the bomber.

he may have simply been out of his mind, from what Ive heard he warned people about the explosion ahead of time and I havent heard anything about an actual motive

It's had a reasonable amount of coverage, but it literally happened Christmas Day so peoples' minds were elsewhere and we're still in the middle of COVID season.

I learned about it maybe within an hour or two of it happening and I heard it brought up on NPR a few times yesterday because apparently there were some substantial interruptions due to it.

If you read the article, it was discussed as a possible motive. It was a guess based purely on the target, not on anything of any substance. The bulk of the article isn't even about the bombing, but rather than Anti-5G movement. The only direct reference to Warner comes midway through the article. The bulk of it is about concerns that it may inspire people who actually do believe Anti-5G conspiracies to attack, whereas right now there's no reported motive.

"In the United States, Tennessee has been a particular hotbed of anti-5G activity, leading the FBI to initially suspect that this was the motive for Anthony Warner's intentional demolition of his RV in front of the AT&T building in downtown Nashville."

It's literally one of many theories -- all of which are still pretty much just guesses -- right now.

5G is fucking basic electromagnetic radiation how scientifically illiterate do you have to be to think it would create a living organism designed to attack your lungs

It's microwave radiation too, which means it would give you the same feeling you would standing out in the sun if you turned up the power by a couple hundred times. For radiation to interact or disrupt a molecule it has to be roughly the same size as it. The wavelength of a microwave can be around a foot.

Not saying that's what I think that's what the bomber did... but it would explain his evacuation. But no... he's scientifically literate to build a bomb that successful, but doesn't understand basic physics? I don't believe it.

When people talk about this they leave out the possibility that they couldn't afford medication or therapy because we as a society don't make healthcare public utility.

If there's someone smart enough to build a bomb that can take out a building, yet they think 5G towers are spreading coronavirus and they need to blow up a building, they're mentally unstable and they're likely aware of it.

Building a bomb that can take out a building isn't really all the complex if you have something the size of an RV to put it in. Oklahoma City and the World Trade Center bombing demonstrated how much damage someone can do with sufficient amounts of fertilizer and fuel oil.

Huh. I've always wanted to know how people make these things, but for obvious reasons I can't go out and look for that information.

Still, 5G paranoia is going to eventually end up on the schizophrenia checklist if it isn't already there.

You can look it up on Wikipedia, it's called ANFO and its been the most commonly used explosive for decades in mining and such.

I bet the FBI tracks all purchases of ammonium nitrate, especially bulk.

Neat chemistry stuff, really interested, but I'd rather not attract that kind of attention, especially not in the age of the NSA. :) Hell, going on a VPN would just make you more suspicious, and they would poke through it like nothing if they wanted to more than likely.

Again, you're talking about this like that was the motive when the motive isn't known at this point. Don't pull a Far-Queue.

Well they could, but it would be a very long list and not very useful. Especially in this case since it would contain anyone that had watched Mythbusters.
