A movie about wishes, in which there are no rules, just a ridiculous amount of plot holes and general stupidity. At least Suicide Squad and Venom were dumb fun. From what I recall about X-Men, there were always a lot of villains, but each one had his own personality and story line. For something like WW84 to come out with standards being so high, and it being a follow up to arguably the best movie in the DC live action universe, was shocking. It has little to no redeeming qualities to it other than Pedro Pascal hamming it up and being the only one who knew it was a hamfest. And it goes to show you that the MCU has delayed their movies with the anticipation of theaters returning to some form of capacity, whereas WB just went ahead and released this. All the wishing and bullshit and all the plot holes make the film objectively bad. Can it still be entertaining? But I wouldn't put it past the Snyderverse shit to just top itself every time with garbage acting, shitty editing and a running time that's 30+ minutes longer than it needed to be. Also I heard that there's a scene where Wonder Woman saves a group of children playing soccer in the street from getting hit by a missile, while Gal Gadot has always been in support of a controversial 2014 operation by the IDF that led to a missile killing a group of children who were playing soccer in the street. So that just seems inappropriate at best. --- Make it through this year, if it kills you outright.
