For some reason I expected it to be slower and visually less impressive even than the Xbox One X, but everything I played clearly looked and ran better by a country mile.

If it weren't for the fact that it only has half as much storage, I'd almost argue that it's a better Game Pass console than the Series X.

Honestly, if I had the choice between the digital PS5 at $399 and the Series S at $299, I would probably still go with the PS5 because it has more storage and is technically more powerful.

But I have to say I'm actually pretty impressed with the quality of the series s

It's ridiculous, and made even more so by the fact that the only storage solution is $200

If it had a terabyte of storage, I think it would have been a better value proposition against the other consoles.

IIRC you can use usb storage to play any previous gen games on, and you can store current gen games on it to keep them up to date.

Sure, moving games back and forth on HDDs might be a little tedious but I've been doing it for PC games for some time.

Honestly, if I owned both consoles, I would probably own the disc PS5 and the Series S.

Most of my gaming would be on PlayStation 5, and the series s would be my Game pass console

The CPU and storage speed absolutely, but as far as the GPU it kind of depends on what metric you're using. It has less compute power, but is a much more modern and efficient design.
