Almost 34. It's just getting boring and repetitive and exhausting. Tired of constantly having to fight and strategize to get through. And losing more and more people from my life as time goes on and people grow apart and get families. Tired of being tired. Tired of having to do everything alone all the time.

I've been inching closer to just calling it quits for a while. But I'm too stubborn, so instead I do "slow suicide". Smoke cigarettes, do drugs(no meth or opiates though), drink a lot, etc.. The usual method.

I've let myself go, I just eat and drink a lot now. Not morbidly obese or anything, but definitely don't fit in my jeans anymore.

I make $34k annually lol. I've looked for a better job for over two years. Nothing that pays better will hire me. I'd need to go to a trade school or university or something. I can't remember anything before adulthood due to TBI, so going back to school is impossible lol.

It is falling into a constant easy-going loop that's scary. Appreciate that fact instead of looking for some big change up in your routine.

Be thankful that's your life according to Trent Reznor instead of "My Violent Heart".

It's a shame that's your "easy loop", but if you're weary of that I'd say keep riding the loop and look for something new in it each time. Might give you some new understanding before you walk in front of a bus or semi-truck by accident.

I dunno, I drink a lot. My sister and I do insufflated Colombian things just about every weekend. She buys, she makes bank, I don't. I just do that and drink. A lot. All the time. I drink at work and no one knows because I'm a high functioning degenerate.

Damn TC, I was gonna try to relate to you but you seem like you're further in your rut than I am.

I recently turned 28 in November, but I've basically been coasting the past 5 years being stoned daily, toiling away at my retail job that, while I don't outright hate it, it's obviously not something I want to do til the end of my days, but at the same time I don't feel like I could really do anything else. I just got nothing to live for and I don't feel any bit motivated to go and find it.

more like as i get older i get more aware of stresses in life, tensions within family and friendships which take a negative toll (especially during corona) and just dread about career (if you're doing the right job, if you should move companies, how long you'll be around for, etc)

Just enjoy what you can. I am living ok by having almost no expectations and being pessimistic gonk.

Sometimes good things happen and it surprises you and it give decent serotonin boost to keep me going.
