Symptoms I've dealt with so far:

• Night time fevers and chills (stopped around the 3rd day)
• Congestion in throat (almost gone now)
• Sore throat (almost gone now)
• Coughing (almost gone now)
• Congestion in nasal passages (started yesterday)
• Lost sense of taste and smell (started yesterday, but my sense of taste seems to be coming back)

Not sure how long this is all going to last, but I feel like I'm getting there.

How did it feel in comparison with a bad cold/flu? I assume much worse?

i don't want to live in a big city too. weeks ago there was 400 cases in portland.
have that risk going outside anywhere even with a mask (unless there's no people around).

couple store employees have gotten sick by customers in the line.

That's pretty good recovery time. The sense of taste coming back is an especially good sign.

So, in the 1st few days where I was dealing with night time fevers and chills, I was awake for almost 48 hours because I couldn't sleep at night. I'm fortunate that my symptoms are mild so far, but a cold or flu would be over and done with in 3 days, 4 days at the most. I'm on day 7 and still dealing with symptoms.

The only obvious options:

• On December 10th, I had a guy come out to fix my washer/dryer. He was blowing his nose and coughing in my utility room. What I should have done is directly ask him if he's sick and called the company he works for afterward to report that he was displaying symptoms. I did neither of those things, though.
• On December 23rd, I had to go to the Tesla service center to get my original wheel and brand new tire put on. Everyone there was wearing masks, but one of the repair techs had to drive my car in and out of the bay to work on it.

I started feeling symptoms on December 27th.

I really wanna know how my immune system would handle covid, but I also really don't want to get sick. I hope I never have to find out.

I had Swine Flu back when that was going around, and that was fucking the worst illness of my life. Hot damn that shit sucked.

Day 7 was when mine turned around. Started clearing up pretty quick. I only had mild symptoms, but there were a lot of them. The only lingering ones after 3 weeks is a slight cough, occasional lightheadedness, and going out into the cold air takes my breath away.

it's best to avoid it :(. they say there's many factors with genes or blood types that increases or decreases the likelihood of ending up with a severe case or in the hospital. even young kids have died to it. it will take anyone.

I probably wouldn't have had bad symptoms if I didn't drink alcohol when I already potentially had it. Word to the wise...stay from alcohol when you start to feel sinusey.

Are you worried about the long term effects? Hope it stays mild for you and you make a full recovery.

Hoping I don't have it. Woke up with an awful sore throat yesterday, but it's mostly gone today, replaced by a constant cough and fever in the 99s.

Gonna talk to a doctor tomorrow

Aye, Im day 8 of symptoms. Started out with a cough, than 5 days in I had a nasty headache. Than 6 days in i lost sense of taste and smell. Now today, I still have a cough but my sense of taste came back. Sleeping alot too
