How big is the board? My initial critical thought is that with a bit of a bigger board, or I guess more specifically bigger pieces, you could do something more with how the blue light casts longer/starker shadows from the pieces than the red light, but obviously that's more about the material than what you did with it. <cite>Tenlaar posted [p:949065451] in I took a p... whats the blue line in the middle though? natural light? >_>

I gave it a 7 as well. I think that the lighting and the way you have it blending into the darkest point in the middle of the sides of the board board is well done. How big is the board? My initial critical thought is that with a bit of a bigger board, or I guess more specifically bigger pieces, you could do something more with how the blue light casts longer/starker shadows from the pieces than the red light, but obviously that's more about the material than what you did with it.

that do be a picture. i gave it a 5. most neutral possible vote cause i don't really care about chess and you used the battlefield color scheme trick to make your pic look cooler than it actually is.
