Basically, I bought this game as a wee lad to play through with my best friend because the two of us got addicted to Digimon World 1. My parents bought the guide alongside it because that's just how they do. We beat the everloving shit out of this terrible game.....except....

In this guide, there was a screenshot, alongside an excerpt saying, "On the 99th floor of the final domain in the game, there is a 1/666 chance of Kimeramon appearing and you can capture it."(This shit reads like a creepypasta, I know.)

The only issue is that there is no recorded proof of this MFer ever actually existing. There also isn't any proof of him definitively not existing. There's users that claim to have seen it, and there's users who claim to have combed the game's files and found nothing related to it, but there's no picture or evidence of either claim.

Because the dungeons are randomly generated, you might not even have a feasible way of making it to the final floor without exhausting all of your tools to do so. We probably went to the final floor 50-100 times and never saw a glimpse of it....but if it really was a 1/666 chance then that is well within the tolerance of having never seen it.

It is my Sasquatch. My own personal cryptid at this point. Every couple of months I'll boot up our completed file and do a single run to see if I can hit the 99th floor out of morbid curiosity. Maybe it finally appears and I can solve this minor internet mystery once and for all.

If there wasn't a damned screenshot in the guide it would be so much easier to dismiss as a rumor. The guide is otherwise pretty flawless as guides from that era go too.
