Let's say, you employ someone to cut your lawn, or do services around your house? Do you give them cash or check?

I was writing checks up until the beginning of the pandemic, but only for one particular purpose.

I got personal checks for jobs I did though, and fairly often, all from people who were very fucking old, of course.

I've never written a real check. I pay everything with credit card or electronic payment.

Until there's a tangible gain better than a postage stamp for paying utility bills online, they are getting checks.
Last I remember, the water bill costs more to pay online for some asinine reason.

Never! Credit card usually. Never paid an interest fee in my life, but Ive reaped those 1-5% cashback bonuses for over 10 years. Its free cash if you arent an idiot and spend more than what you can pay at the end of the month.
