You take hold of it and then realize that one of the wheels is busted and stiff. This makes the cart constantly tug to the left as you walk and forces you to constantly straighten it. "Oh stop fussing, come on." she says as she excitedly walks towards the store with glad eagerness. There's no way to switch the carts without going out of your way and drawing attention to yourself in front of her. How do you react? What do you do?
