i get a one hour lunch break and 99% of the time i'll take a lunch break, but sometimes not for a full hour. today is a rare time when i haven't had a break at all

When I had one, I'd eat my lunch at my desk but I'd be reading comics or something.

I probably only did like 2 hours of work in an average day and most of that was right when I got there.

i take an hour for lunch and i dont make up the time, so i work a 7-hour day. my boss knows this and she's cool w/it because i get all my work done well and on time.

I tend to work through lunch and then just leave work early to go home. I can do a lot more in 30 minutes after work than I can stuck in an office.

So, I have a new supervisor now and I've been working from home so I don't know what the new policy is going to be.

But the previous supervisor made us limit our lunch to like half an hour and it was the dumbest shit because it's not like there was a lot of work to be done.

been working in an office job since I was 20. Hated taking lunches. Alyssa felt they unnecessarily prolonged my days and I was always sluggish after.

i tend to lurk/post on CE and ogle the pretty ppl throughout the day at work so i don't need lunch break for that. wish we had games or other stuff we could do in a breakout room (back in office ofc)

Im salaried so my lunch varies depending on my day but I always take some time away from my desk. Anywhere from 30 min to 90 on some days if I feel like it lol.

Pre-Covid, my coworkers and I would go out to eat a lot because were all big foodies. Wed have k-bbq days where wed all come in our stretchy pants and not eat breakfast. Good times.

i do miss having lunch and after work pints with my colleagues :(
